My Water Genasi Druid.
It has occurred to me, yet again, that I'm producing art that I'm not uploading to deviantart. I normally don't upload because I feel a picture isn't finished enough to deserve posting. Or I feel like it doesn't meet my standards. But, honestly, my standards are higher than my usual work. Which is why I never upload anything. I hope to correct this, eventually. Either by improving my art, lowering my standards, or some sort of combination. In the interest of improving my art, feel free to critique. No, really. Feel free.
Ultimately, I feel I need to submit new art if for no other reason than to drown out the art I submitted years ago which doesn't come close to my current standards.
To any DnD nerd curious, a water genasi is a planetouched race, as an Aasimar or a Tiefling, but touched from the Elemental plane of water, rather than the Celestial plane, or the Lower Planes.

I agree about the lightning, it seems off. I would add more grooves to the tree to give it a more realistic look. The left arm seems short. Kind of looks weird like the tree is very short, yet he looks high up in the air. Weird. It would be nice to have some smaller lightning strikes in the back too. The contrast of the lighting is very nice.
I like the character design. Is this a character you use in DnD? I hope he doesn't encounter any enemies as he seems to have forgotten his bow.
