Artist's Comments

"Dear Grandpa,

I hope this finds you in good health on the happy (and sobering) occaision of your 70th birthday. I believe that its pretty much officially held that you are indeed now an old man, despite your constant verbal protests to the contrary. I have heard in passing comment that you often find yourself obligated to use the objects people give you on anniversaries of birth and marriage, or Christmas gifts of well-wishing, and I notice everytime I visit your house that the rooms are the slightest bit more cluttered. I finally believe I have found a gift that, weighing only a few electrons, you may display in your house without having to feel the slightest bit constrained. I hope that this brings you and your house as much joy as it brought me to create it.

Love Always,

Rufus"

Thanks. The reason I did it was so they would be more supportive in the art degree that I'm looking to get. And unfortunately I articulated the letter so well that they thought I should look into a job as a politician/speech writer. The clouds barely phased them. So yeah, its a sweet note, maybe I should have been more coarse >.>
